# Deposit Assets

You can deposit assets in Hyperdrive markets to earn a portion of the borrowing interest.

1. To deposit assets, choose between the different Hyperdrive lending markets.

2. The Hyperdrive app will ask you for permission to access your assets balance. Input an amount you would like to approve for lending.

3. Approve spending cap request in your wallet. Click **Confirm**.

4. Click Lend

5. Review the transaction in your wallet extension and click **Confirm**. Make sure the amounts are correct. Keep in mind that there will be a small computational fee to send the transaction.

6. Congratulations! You’ve successfully deposited assets to earn a share of the market's lending yield. The amount you deposited will show in your dashboard.

Note: Different lending markets have different profile of assets accepted as collateral. Certain markets may offer higher yields due to the higher risk profile of assets used as collateral.&#x20;
